Arrest of 3 individuals in Hay Al Selloum – Dahiye Janoubiye for forming a gang involved in robbery, theft, and drug trafficking, and 2 individuals in Chiyyah for possession of drugs

The Lebanese Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On 13/04/2024, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested after monitoring and tracking drug dealers in Hay Al Selloum - Dahiye Janoubiye, the individuals (A.M.), (A.M.), and (R.B.) for forming a gang involved in theft, robbery, and drug trafficking. A quantity of cocaine, crack cocaine, and hashish was found in their possession.
Similarly, an army unit arrested in Chiyyah the individuals (AA.A.) and (A.M.) who were riding an illegal motorcycle. The unit seized a quantity of drugs and hashish in their possession.
The confiscated items were handed over, and the investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
