Arrest of 7 individuals in the areas of Bab Al Hadid and Al Baddawi - Tripoli for committing various crimes, including forming an armed gang

The Lebanese Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
A patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested in Al Baddawi - Tripoli the individuals (A.G.), (M.F.), (AA.R.), (N.H.), and (KH.K.) for forming an armed gang and committing crimes such as robbery by force of arms, theft, shooting, throwing grenades, imposing extortion, and drug trafficking. One of the gang members also threw a grenade towards an army patrol. Firearms and a quantity of drugs were seized in their possession.
Similarly, an army unit arrested in Bab Al Hadid - Tripoli the individual (AA.AA.), who was wanted for shooting. Two pistols and a quantity of ammunition were seized in his possession. His brother (T.AA.) was arrested for attempting to obstruct the unit's members.
The confiscated items were handed over, and the investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
