4 Lebanese individuals arrested in El Hadath-Baalbek, El Rwaymeh-Akkar, and El Qobbeh-Tripoli as part of security measures

As part of security measures implemented by the army in several regions, an intelligence directorate patrol carried out searches and arrests during this week:
-    Raids in El Hadath-Baalbek, and arrest of the Lebanese (AA.Z.) and his son (H.Z.), who were wanted under multiple arrest warrants for shooting and injuring individuals as well as armed robberies. They fired at members of the patrol who fired back, resulting in the injury of (H.Z.), who was subsequently hospitalized.
-    Arrest of the Lebanese individual (AA.R.Z.), wanted for kidnapping, armed robbery, and shooting crimes, resulting in the seizure of a quantity of weapons and ammunition.

Several units carried out security measures:

•    Arrest of the Lebanese individual (A.kh.) in Rwayme-Akkar for attempted transfer of a significant quantity of smuggled goods in a gas tank.
•    Arrest of the Lebanese individual (Y.A.) in El Qobbeh-Tripoli wanted for suspected involvement in a shooting incident, resulting in the seizure of a handgun.

The seized items were handed over and the investigation was initiated with the arrestees under supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
