Army Arrests Four Individuals for Various Crimes and Seizes Narcotics, Weapons, and Ammunition

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
A Lebanese Army unit raided the residences of wanted individuals in Brital - Baalbek and arrested two Lebanese citizens (H.A.) and (AA.A.), for possessing a quantity of narcotics, weapons and military ammunition, in addition to a counterfeit sum of money.
In a separate operation, another Army unit arrested the Syrian (H.J.) at the Safri checkpoint -Baalbek for moving within Lebanese territory without legal documents, as well as the driver transporting him, the Lebanese citizen (M.M.). A quantity of cannabis and a counterfeit sum of money were found in the latter’s possession.
The seized items were handed over to the competent authorities, and an investigation was initiated with the detainees under the supervision of the competent judicial authority.
