Army Commander-in-Chief Visits President René Mouawad Airport – Qlayaat

Army Commander-in-Chief General Rodolph Haykal visited President René Mouawad Airport – Qlayaat, where he met with Minister of Public Works and Transport Fayez Rasamny and MP Sajih Attieh, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for Public Works, Transport, Energy and Water.

He reviewed the works being undertaken by the Independent Works Regiment to help rehabilitate the airport, and visited the Air Force units tasked with securing the facility and maintaining its runway.

Minister Rasamny and MP Attieh expressed their appreciation for the Army’s role and its contribution to carrying out the rehabilitation works at the airport.
