Graduation Ceremony of the 14th International Humanitarian Law Course for University Students Majoring in Law and Political Science

A graduation ceremony for the 14th International Humanitarian Law Course for university students majoring in Law and Political Science was held at the Fouad Shehab Command and Staff College, in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross.

The Director of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights, representing the Lebanese Army Commander-in-Chief, General Rodolph Haykal, attended the ceremony, along with representatives of national universities and a number of officers.

During the ceremony, the Director of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights, Brigadier General Ziad Rizkallah, delivered a speech in which he said:

“The graduation of this course is not limited to completing a training program; rather, it reaffirms a shared responsibility between the Army and society to uphold justice and the rule of law, even under the most difficult circumstances of war.”
