Israeli Occupation Forces Continue Their Attacks and Violations of Existing Understandings and International Law, Most Recently in Zawtar al Sharqiyah – Nabatieh

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

The Israeli occupation forces continue their attacks and violations of existing understandings and international law, most recently by blowing up the municipal building in Zawtar al Sharqiyah, Nabatieh, in addition to the public school, health clinic, children’s nursery, and several residences in the town. This confirms the occupation’s continued pursuit of its destructive approach aimed at inflicting the greatest possible damage on southern villages and towns and preventing the establishment of stability.

At the same time, the Lebanese Army continues to carry out its missions in the south, where it faces significant difficulties as a result of these attacks, which are hindering the completion of its deployment and the return of residents.
