The Lebanese Army Commander-in-Chief visits Military Units Deployed in the North and Offers Condolences for Three Fallen Soldiers: Our Sacrifices Keep the Nation Resilient and United, and Our Dedication Is Met with the Lebanese People's Trust and Affectio

The Lebanese Army Commander-in-Chief, General Rodolph Haykal visited the headquarters of the 1st Land Border Regiment in Chadra - Akkar, where he reviewed the measures in place to monitor the border within the regiment's area of responsibility as part of the Army's ongoing efforts to secure and control Lebanon's northern and eastern borders. He also visited the headquarters of the 2nd Infantry Brigade at Hanna Ghostin Barracks in Araman and the 10th Infantry Brigade in Kfarchakhna - Zgharta, where he was briefed on the missions being carried out by both units.

General Haykal congratulated the troops on the occasion of Army Day, and emphasized the importance of border protection as a fundamental pillar of maintaining security and internal stability during the current exceptional circumstances. Addressing the soldiers, he said: "You protect Lebanon by carrying out your national duty to the fullest. Each one of you contributes to preserving security across the country with unwavering dedication and commitment despite the significant challenges. Our sacrifices keep the nation resilient and united, creating the conditions necessary for state institutions to function and for the country to recover from its crises."

He also stressed the importance of maintaining constant readiness through continuous training, stating:

"Thanks to your sincere efforts, our citizens enjoy security. We look forward to the end of the occupation and to the deployment of the Army across every inch of Lebanese territory to fulfill its national duty. Our dedication is met with the Lebanese people's trust and affection, as they consider the Army their source of hope, despite the voices that seek to undermine the standing of the military institution."

General Haykal also extended his condolences to the families of First Sergeant Martyr Elie Al Jbeily in Miniara- Akkar; Recruit with extended services Martyr Omar Khodr in Kwachra, Akkar; and Sergeant Martyr Bilal Khaled in Al Zahriyeh, Tripoli, praising their courage and devotion in fulfilling their duty until they attained martyrdom in service of the nation.
