Master’s Degree Graduation Ceremony in Military Sciences for Officers of the 40th Staff Course

A ceremony was held at the President Rafic Hariri University Campus in Hadath to award Master’s degrees in Military Sciences to the officers of the 40th Staff Course, as well as to graduates of previous staff courses who had re-presented their research papers.

The ceremony was attended by the Chief of Staff, representing the Army Commander-in-Chief, General Rodolph Haykal; Lebanese University President Professor Bassam Badran; and a number of officers and professors.

During the ceremony, Major General Hassan Audi delivered a speech in which he said: “This degree represents a new responsibility that requires putting the knowledge acquired to use in the service of the institution and transforming the results of academic research into practical ideas and initiatives.”

He congratulated the graduating officers and expressed his appreciation to the Lebanese University and the Fouad Chehab Command and Staff College.

For his part, Professor Badran praised the fruitful cooperation between the Lebanese Army and the Lebanese University over the past years, expressing his appreciation for all the efforts made by the military institution in serving the nation.
