Obituary of Retired Brigadier General Bassam Abdallah

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation mourns retired Brigadier General Bassam Abdallah (860296), father of Captain Deeb Abdallah of the Air Force and First Navy Lieutenant Issam Abdallah of the Navy Foces, who passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026. Below is a brief overview of his life:
•    Born on April 4, 1962, in Chehime – Chouf. 
•    Enlisted in the army on December 21, 1981. He was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on August 1, 1986, and gradually rose through the ranks to Brigadier General, effective January 1, 2015. 
•    Recipient of several medals, as well as commendations and congratulations from the Army Commander on multiple occasions. 
•    Attended several training courses within Lebanon. 
•    Married with three children.
