One of the Most Dangerous Wanted Individuals Arrested by the Army Following a Special Raid Involving an Exchange of Gunfire

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
The Intelligence Directorate carried out a special raid in Sabra – Baabda and arrested Lebanese citizen (W.A.) following a series of precise surveillance and security monitoring operations. He is one of the most dangerous wanted individuals for drug and arms trafficking, in addition to several other crimes, including communicating with extremist groups, opening fire on various occasions and injuring individuals, extortion, instigating altercations, and terrorizing citizens in Beirut.
During the raid, an exchange of gunfire took place with the wanted individual, without resulting in any injuries.
An investigation was initiated with the arrestee under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
