Visitors of the Lebanese Army Commander-in-Chief

The Lebanese Army Commander-in-Chief, General Rodolph Haykal, received in his office in Yarzeh the United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Jean Arnault. During the meeting, they discussed the general situation in Lebanon and the region, as well as the post-UNIFIL phase. Mr. Arnault commended the efforts of the Lebanese Army and expressed his appreciation for the Army's role in safeguarding Lebanon's sovereignty and stability.

General Haykal also received the Romanian Military Attaché, Colonel Stefan Iovanescu, on a farewell visit marking the end of his mission. During the visit, Colonel Iovanescu introduced his successor, Lieutenant Colonel Cornel-Mădălin Ivan.
